Apple review team unable to fetch subscriptions
Hello, New app with a simple subscription is being rejected in review, apparently because the subscription's IAP products are unavailable in the review environment. Subscription purchases work correctly in TestFlight. The only description of the problem supplied by the reviewer is "Specifically, error processing IAPs" – no screenshots or description of symptoms. However I can see from app diagnostics they are getting the log error "Subscription store should include at least one auto-renewable subscription", which implies the products cannot be loaded. There is nothing I can change at my end to resolve this. Please help. This seems to be a regular problem, reading this forum. FYI: Subscriptions work in TestFlight using the sandbox Subscription products were attached to the app version for review Subscription products have status "Waiting for review" The paid agreement is active and bank information is present I have also deleted and re-created the products with new group and product ids after a previous similar rejection. The submitted build uses these new products of course.

App Created in Fliplet Rejected For Being Spam
Hi, I'm having an issue getting an app reviewed and am looking for any helpful information. I created an app in Fliplet, which allows anyone to create apps using pre-made templates that can be edited. I also created an app last year using the same platform and had no issues. I received a message after review that Apple noticed my app shares a similar binary, metadata, and/or concept as apps submitted to the App Store by other developers, with only minor differences. Submitting similar or repackaged apps is a form of spam that creates clutter and makes it difficult for users to discover new apps. The app isn't spam and contains different data than the original app but its still not being considered. Any suggestions for how to handle this?

App update "Waiting for review" for a week
Hi! We have a critical in-app launch coming soon and already missed one due to longer than expected review process. I even requested an expedited review last Saturday, but it's still "Waiting for review". We also have a patch version waiting that we would send to review right after the current one is approved. Or should we reject the current submission and submit the patched version (and request expedited review) or would that just drop us back to the end of the line? Help appreciated, thank you. 🙏

App Review Delay – 6 Days Without Feedback, Urgent Launch Approaching
Hello Apple Developer Support, Please we are writing to respectfully seek your assistance regarding the current status of our app submission. As of today, it has been six (6) full days since we received the last correspondence through our Apple Developer account. In that last message, we were informed that our app and the information we submitted had been successfully acknowledged, and we were kindly asked to allow additional time for the review process. While we absolutely understand and respect the importance of a thorough app review — especially for ensuring compliance, security, and overall app quality on the App Store — the extended delay without further updates has become a serious concern for us, and we are reaching out in hopes of getting some clarification or an approval update. Our situation is quite time-sensitive. We have been preparing for our app launch for a long time, and we have communicated a specific release date to our users and clients. Unfortunately, with no update from the review team and our planned launch date fast approaching, we are now in a position where we might miss this window. This could lead to broken promises to our users and potentially damage the trust we’ve worked hard to build with them. We are not trying to rush or pressure the team — we deeply respect the process and the work that goes into it. Rather, we are simply trying to understand where things currently stand so we can better manage expectations on our side, and possibly make informed decisions if any contingency plans are needed. We have reviewed all communications thoroughly and have ensured that no additional information was requested from our side. If there is any action needed on our end, we would be more than happy to respond immediately and provide anything that could assist in moving the review process forward. We sincerely hope this message can help prompt a follow-up or at least help us understand what the next steps might be. If there is a known backlog or expected delay duration, even having that context would go a long way in helping us communicate transparently with our users and stakeholders. We’re excited to bring our app to the App Store and share the hard work we’ve put into its development with the iOS community. We appreciate your time, support, and the dedication the App Review team gives to making the App Store a safe and high-quality environment for all users. Thank you in advance for your help.

Appeal Submitted 2 Months Ago, Organization Closed, $50,000 Frozen
Hello, I submitted an appeal regarding the termination of my Apple Developer Program membership 2 months ago, but I have yet to receive a response. During this time, my organization has been closed, and $50,000 in earnings is now frozen due to the suspension of my account. This situation is causing significant financial and operational difficulties, and I am unable to move forward with any business activities related to my apps or Apple Developer account. Has anyone faced a similar issue or been able to resolve such matters? Any guidance on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Appeal Submitted, No Response, All My Apps Are Blocked
Hello, I submitted an appeal regarding the termination of my Apple Developer Program membership, following the notice I received on April 4, 2025, regarding "Dishonest or Fraudulent Activity." I followed the instructions provided, explained the situation thoroughly, and outlined the steps I would take to prevent any recurrence of the issues mentioned. However, it is now May 26, 2025, and I have not received any response from the App Review team. All of my apps have been blocked, and I am currently unable to proceed with any development or updates. Can anyone advise on the typical response time for such appeals? Is there anything else I can do to escalate this matter? Thank you for your help!

Apps still not review after 9 days
We submitted our apps on May 19, 2025, in order to make them available to our new customers. To date, we have heard nothing from the AppStore Connect team. We tried to delete the submission of one of our apps and try again the process on May 23, but this too was unsuccessful. The availability of these apps on the store is vital to the operation of our company, since our customers are eagerly awaiting their use, which is a drag on our sales. It's frustrating not to have a faster service, especially as we pay an annual fee, without having more information on potential slowdowns such as during the Christmas period. Any help or visibility would be appreciated Wishing you a good day and good luck to my fellow developers if you're in the same situation. Best regards,

Payment Gateway Integration
I am currently developing an iOS app intended for release in Indonesia, and I would like to inquire about the possibility of integrating Xendit as a payment gateway for in-app transactions. Xendit is a widely used and trusted payment platform in Southeast Asia, particularly in Indonesia. Could you please advise if it is permitted under Apple’s App Store Review Guidelines to use Xendit for processing payments within the app? If so, are there any specific requirements or steps I need to follow to ensure compliance with Apple’s policies?

App Store Submission Rejected 3 Times – Guideline 4.2 (Minimum Functionality)
Hi everyone, I'm having trouble getting my iOS app approved on the App Store. My submission has been rejected three times now under Guideline 4.2 - Design - Minimum Functionality, and I’m not sure what else I can do. My app displays data from Speedrun.com using their public API. It allows users to view speedrunner profiles, game stats, and leaderboard information. I’ve been in contact with Speedrun.com staff, and I have explicit permission from them to use their API and display their content in the app. After the initial rejection, I added in-app notifications to increase interactivity and value, but the app was still rejected with the same message: “We continue to notice that the usefulness of the app is limited by the minimal functionality it currently provides. Specifically, the app primarily offers content for users to view or use, but there isn't enough of this content currently available in the app to make it useful to users.” I'm really stuck at this point. I feel like the app already offers meaningful value to fans of speedrunning by making Speedrun.com content more accessible on mobile. I’d really appreciate any advice or ideas on what I could add to increase the perceived functionality or value. Has anyone else run into something similar? Thanks in advance! 🙏

Resubmitting the app after app review rejection.
Hello Support Team, I submitted my testflight app Alignora for app review. App Name: Alignora Submission ID: 1c2b5168-bc07-4ad1-9382-f84852dc3792 The original build number that was associated with this review was 76. To address these issues, I created a new build 77, where in I removed all location usage from the app, associated metadata from info.plist. All the other purpose strings now clearly describe how an app uses the ability, data, or resource.Given below for your reference, "infoPlist": { "NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription": "Alignora requires access to your photo library to save facial analysis images and allow you to select profile photos for processing.", "NSPhotoLibraryAddUsageDescription": "Alignora saves facial analysis results to your photo library so you can review them later and track changes over time.", "NSCameraUsageDescription": "Alignora uses your camera to capture facial images for detailed analysis of facial proportions and to generate personalized recommendations.", "NSMediaLibraryUsageDescription": "Alignora saves your facial analysis images to your media library so you can review them later and track changes over time.", "NSPhotoLibraryPreventAutomaticLimitedAccessAlert": true, "ITSAppUsesNonExemptEncryption": false }, 2) In this build, I also created a dedicated Account deletion button in the profile screen of my app (Delete My account) as per review guidelines, which allows users to completely delete their data from with the app's user profile screen. 3) Privacy Policy URL and User Privacy Choices URL were also updated in the App Privacy section on App Store Connect. Custom License agreement, which is basically my terms of service, was also updated under License Agreement on App Store Connect under App Information section. These links are given below : https://alignora.rebelsparrow.ai/privacy-policy https://alignora.rebelsparrow.ai/privacy-choices https://alignora.rebelsparrow.ai/terms-of-service. These links can also be found on the alignora landing page footer ->https://alignora.rebelsparrow.ai/. Besides, the link to privacy-policy & terms of service are also available on the login screen of the app. Now when I wanted to resubmit my app for review with build 77, I wanted to associate my existing in-app subscriptions with this build. I use to get the option to make that association of the build with existing subscriptions under iOS App->1.0 Prepare for submission -> right under 'Build'. Unfortunately I am not able to see my Subscriptions which were associated with the earlier build 76 are not visible any more as such I am not able to associate them with this new build 77. They can still be viewed under subscription And strangely this new Build 77 that I submitted overwrote the App review build number from 76 to 77. Please refer to the screenshot below : Even after I tried to remove the review status, I am still not able to get the plus button so that I can associate the build number 77 to the subscription as I use to before I submitted my app for review. Kindly help and please let me know if there is anything else needed from me as I am really looking forward to submit my correct build as per the app review (I have also created a new build 78 ..if needed just for this purpose)

My App Rejected 4.3 Design: Spam
Hello. Appstore is rejecting my app according to article 4.3. But the app is not a copy, what should I do in this case? It is useful to specify the details; I had previously registered with my personal account and the Appstore stated that unfortunately VPN applications are not accepted with a personal account. Then they told me to register with a company account and make this application from the company account. (When I sent the application for review on my personal account, there were only a few incorrect items and the most important reason why it was not accepted was that it was a personal account). Now we send the application for review with our company account, but as soon as it is put into in review mode, it is quickly rejected due to 4.3 spam. The app is not a copy but completely custom created. I don't know how to find a solution. Can you please help with the issue?

App Review Delayed for Over 100 Hours – Need Guidance
Hello everyone, I submitted an app titled “المدينة” (Submission ID: 421022ff-da85-421e-b9b0-0381c26cad78) to the App Store, and it has been “In Review” since May 19 at 3:05 PM, now over 100 hours without any status update. I have already submitted a formal legal opinion confirming compliance with Apple’s guidelines, followed up multiple times, and even scheduled an App Review appointment (earliest available date was next Tuesday). However, the delay is affecting a time-sensitive launch with potential contractual penalties. I understand some reviews take longer, but I’d be grateful if anyone from the team or community could provide insight or suggest any further action I can take to help move the review forward. Thank you in advance.

Guideline 3.2.1(viii) - domain ownership issue despite Admin email match
Hi everyone, I’m having a recurring issue with App Review under Guideline 3.2.1(viii). Our app provides loan services, and we’re using a custom domain on our app's Product Page (e.g. support URL, marketing URL). To comply with the requirement that the domain must be clearly under our control and associated with Apple Accounts, we’ve: Verified the domain (e.g. exampleloanservice.com) via the apple-app-site-association file. Added an Admin user to our App Store Connect team with an email like admin[at]exampleloanservice.com. All URLs listed in the App Store metadata (support, marketing, privacy policy) use that same domain. The Account Holder is still using a personal email like companyname[at]gmail.com. Despite this, the app is still being rejected with the same message: "domains used on the Product Page must be under your control or ownership" My questions are: Is having an Admin user with the correct domain email enough? Or does the Account Holder email also need to be on the same domain to pass review? Would really appreciate insights from anyone who’s faced this and solved it. Thanks!

ITMS-91109: com.apple.quarantine found in bundle
Hi all, I have repeatedly the issue that a certain .strings file in my app's bundle has the extended files attribute com.apple.quarantine set. Consequently the submission fails with the following mail notification: We noticed one or more issues with a recent delivery for the following app: [...] ITMS-91109: Invalid package contents - The package contains one or more files with the com.apple.quarantine extended file attribute, such as “abcdef.strings”. This attribute isn’t permitted in macOS apps distributed on TestFlight or the App Store. Please remove the attribute from all files within your app and upload again. I'm able to resubmit the bundle after cleaning the file attribute via xattr -d -r com.apple.quarantine..., but the funny thing is it happens again and again - on a .strings file which hasn't been downloaded (but manually created), shouldn't be under Gatekeeper's quarantine, and wasn't edited in the meantime. Is anybody else observing the same issue with macOS 15.4.1, Xcode 16.3? Greetings, Matthias

Missing a functional link to the Terms of Use (EULA)
I wanted to add subscription plan into my app for a new release. I have bottom sheet showing promotional text for this subscription like below They rejected my app because We were unable to find the following required information in your app's binary: – A functional link to the Terms of Use (EULA) – A functional link to the privacy policy So I added both links for terms and privacy policy in the promotional text. I use the standard Apple EULA for the link. And I still get rejected on the latest review because Specifically, We were unable to find the following required item(s) in your app's metadata: – A functional link to the Terms of Use (EULA) WHY? is it because I should put this link in my App Description page instead of the promotional text? Then why they didn't make noise about the link to privacy policy?

Unable to view build generated for destination as "Mac(Designed for iPad)" on appstore connec
We have an existing app - "Pluralsight: Learn Tech Skills" which is built for mac using mac catalyst. The latest version here is 3.59.0. We are shifting to "Mac (Designed for iPad)" destination instead of catalyst. The build with this change, uploaded from xcode with version 3.60.0, is not visible under macOS/iOS tab under macOS testflight app. Also we are not able to see "iPhone and iPad Apps on Apple Silicon Macs" section under "Pricing and Availability" page. We believe that this needs to be enabled for the mac app built with "Mac (Designed for iPad)". Please help out.

Redeem code suddenly associated to the invited email
My company has been sharing the redeem code to the company domain email address and allow staff to redeem the app with their personal Apple ID. However, we found that the redeem code is failing and claiming the Apple ID doesn't match the one associated with the invitation. I cannot find the documentation for this change, may I know if this is something permanent?
