App Name capitalization issue
Looking for a solution: our app name is read more clearly when it is lower-case. We have submitted it to the store in that format, and it shows up on the App Store that way, but when it is sent to the devices, it changes to upper case. I am not seeing results on why this is happening or how to change it. The app name is 1on1 Piano, and when it is downloaded on the device, it changes to 1ON1 Piano, which people often mistake for "ioni piano" and "10 and 1 piano," so we would like it to be consistent with our branding where "on" is lowercase.

An idea for a photographic app
Hello, I created a particular ray tracing based photo/video capture app for iPhone (which causes me several headaches in finding the optimal configuration) that which often offers very soft and visually beautiful shots but is trapped in the usual oblivion of apps from unknown developers. While it is true that on the one hand the fact that almost no one downloads your app even if it is free can save you from several gaffes in the early days, in the long run it becomes depressing. So I thought of creating something that could be an incentive to try the app. Not having money to invest in prizes for contests or much more pragmatically in advertising, I thought of adding a function where you can see the best photos taken in your area and vote for them and, if you want, add a photo taken in the competition. Do you think it could be a nice idea? It's true that the problem itself is to overcome the wall of 0 downloads, where your app is neither successful nor unsuccessful because in fact nobody tries it, but without money for advertising I don't have many other ideas... Thanks

Proposal for a Privacy-Focused, iOS-Exclusive Dating App
Hello Apple Developers, I’m reaching out to the community with a concept that I truly believe could be a natural fit for the Apple ecosystem: A privacy-focused, iOS-exclusive dating app designed to enhance connections between Apple users while staying true to Apple’s commitment to security and user privacy. The idea is to create an iOS-only dating platform that fosters relationships between users who are part of the Apple ecosystem. The app would integrate seamlessly with Apple’s services (iMessage, FaceTime, Siri, etc.) and provide a premium user experience, where privacy is a priority. Apple users already prefer to communicate using Apple services (iMessage, FaceTime). A dating app designed specifically for iOS users would deepen this ecosystem lock-in, making it easier for Apple customers to connect within a trusted space. Apple is already known for its privacy focus, and an iOS-exclusive dating app would build upon that reputation. It would ensure secure, private interactions, minimizing the risks associated with data sharing in most dating apps today. The app could integrate directly with features like iCloud, Apple Pay (for date-night bookings), and Siri (for matchmaking suggestions), offering users a truly native iOS experience. While the app would remain free to use, here are a few potential monetization methods: Bundling with Apple One/iCloud+ for premium matchmaking features. Apple Pay-based date-night deals with local partners. I’d love to hear your thoughts on whether Apple might be open to this idea. Would there be any challenges from a technical or business perspective in creating a dating app exclusively for iOS users? I’m looking forward to hearing from you all, and thank you for your time and insights. Yours Truly, CapNKirk P.S. This is an idea. But I do not care who uses, implements, or executes this idea. I just want to see Apple take advantage of it.

Vision Pro - Delivering two apps with one purchase
We have a fully immersive game (Colossal Cave) for the Vision Pro which uses hand tracking. We also have a version of the game that uses eye tracking but is Mixed Reality. For technical reasons they need to be two different apps (a long story). We could set it up as three different apps Colossal Cave Immersive Colossal Cave Mixed Reality Colossal Cave Bundle But this means three distinct store pages and buyer confusion, which can hurt sales. What I'd love to figure out is how to offer the bundle without the other two store pages. I could put all three store pages, but I really want people to try the game in both immersive and Mixed Reality format. I could try doing something like pricing the immersive and Mixed reality versions at $39.99 with the bundle at $24.99 .. and tell people in the text for the individual versions to buy the bundle (a $80 value) for only $24.99. But .. that's complicated and feels hokey. Is there some simpler idea? -Ken Williams Cygnus Entertainment

Issue with Empty Reporting in Apple Search Ads (Basic)
Hi, I am using Apple Search Ads (Basic), and I’ve noticed that my bank account has been debited weekly. However, when I recently tried to access the reports, they appear empty. Please see the attached screenshots for reference. Is there a customer support representative from Apple Search Ads who can assist me with this issue? Thank you.

Depreciating app platform while continue developing other app platforms
Hey folks, I'd like to know if anyone faced the same problem and how did you overcome it. We're considering depreciating one of our app's platform but will continue developing and introducing new features to the rest of athe pp platforms. Imagine there's an app called "Great app" and it has 4 platforms configured (and all in sales) in the App Store Connect: it has iOS, macOS, tvOS, and visionOS. However, you come to a decision to discontinue development and support for e.g. tvOS app/platform but will continue improving the rest of the app platforms. What is 100% clear - there is no way to remove the platform that has been submitted and in sales. Also, there's no way to manage some platforms independently from the rest app platforms (any changes to e.g. country availability affect all app platforms). We clarified this with Apple already. So there's a dilemma: you will always have the app in production and in sales which has a platform that is not anymore supported, maintained, etc. That's very sad from users' perspective as they can still find the tvOS platform app, download it, and become pretty disappointed. Would love to hear thoughts/suggestions/ideas from anyone who faced the same. How did you manage it? Did you prepare some kinds of funneling into your sideload app platform, or put some depreciation screens/information for users, how did you overcome the limitations set in App Review Guidelines, etc. Cheers.

Tracking Campaign Performance: Downloads & Subscriptions
Hello! We are planning a revenue-sharing campaign with an influencer, where they'll distribute a unique campaign code. For each successful paying subscription generated through their code, we'll reward them with a percentage of the proceeds. In App Store Connect under Analytics > Acquisition > Campaign, I can see the number of downloads, but I'm unsure where to find the number of subscriptions generated from these unique links. Could you guide me on how to access this data so I can provide the influencer with a report showing both the downloads and subscriptions from their campaign? Thank you!

Will users have to purchase my app twice?
Dear Apple & Community, Sorry if this was asked already, but I couldn't find any concrete or up to date answers, this is my first time around. I developed an App for both iOS and MacOS. They are on separate deploys (i.e. it is not cross compatible), but the same software nonetheless. I would like that those who purchased it for iOS also get it for MacOS anad vice-versa. Is that possible? Is that out of the box or should I do anything extra in the App Store Connect or in the Deployment? Thanks and best regards Saif

Are Deep Links on Custom Product Pages working?
I created a new Custom Product Page with a Deep Link, according to the WWDC '24 session "What's new in App Store Connect", and everything has been approved, but the Deep Link does not appear to be working. Is this feature fully operational yet? When the app is installed via this product page, the user should be directed to a specific page in the app, however this does not happen. It does work properly when installing directly via the Deep Link This is the link to the product page: https://apps.apple.com/app/bills-to-budget/id1636872963?ppid=ff079a93-be32-43fe-a88e-ad97a68ff725
