I recently updated my iPhone to the iOS 26 developers beta version, and I’m encountering an issue on the Software Update page. It says “Unable to check for updates,” and I’m unable to revert to iOS 18.
Is this a temporary problem? Will I be able to update my iPhone in the future without needing to reset it?

It seems that this issue is affecting many of us at the moment. I would strongly recommend using the iOS Beta on a dedicated test device, rather than your primary one, to prevent any unforeseen bugs or potential impacts on your warranty.
I had the same issue with my iPad 9th gen. I restored it to the previous version with my computer and restored my data from a backup I made before I installed the beta.
im facing the same issue, I updated the from iOS 18.5 to 26 and i cant revert back, im using iphone 13.
I should have backed-up my phone which i didnt not apple is not letting me go back, it feels like a force beta testing.
I looked at the system log on my iPad before I updated and I noticed that these lines might be helpful in figuring out what's going on.

The issue has been automatically resolved for me.
