Audio issue on iPhone 15 pro (iOS18.5)

I have an audio issue on iPhone 15 Pro (iOS18.5).

After some steps, the new call will be on one-way audio status, but tap mute and unmute will back to normal.

See the attached video and check the "yellow dot indicator" for the audio status. Video link: https://youtube.com/shorts/DqYIIIqtMKI?feature=share

I have a similar issue on iOS15 and iOS16, and no issue on iOS17, but now I have this issue on iOS18 with dynamic island model devices.

Please check. Thanks.

@darkpaw Thanks for the reply, but I face this issue in my code and I can replicate it in the Apple CallKit demo.

Have you filed a bug on this and, if so, what's the bug number?

So I ask Apple dev here for suggestions

There isn't really a lot your app can do about this. If you're in the foreground then you can unmute the call yourself, but even that is difficult since you can't really know if you should/should not unmute.

and when this issue will be fixed.

I'm not going to comment on our future plans or release schedule.

These are the Developer Forums, where developers of apps for Apple's platforms ask each other for hints and tips on coding.

Your question is more of a product support one, so I'd suggest you ask it over at the Apple Support Forums. Thanks.

As I know, the iOS 17 is ok and other iPhone without dynamic island is ok.

@DTS Engineer I tested this case with iOS26, it works well. So you guys fixed it in iOS26?
