We are building an iOS App and want to access or read SMS Text messages and Voicemails in order to back them up in a new service that we are building, Is that possible using Xcode? is there a special permission for that?

There's no supported way for you to access SMS or voicemail with the APIs currently available. If you'd like us to consider adding the necessary functionality, please file an enhancement request using Feedback Assistant. Once you file the request, please post the FB number here.
