Upgrade old App to Swift 4

I have an old app that I just got a notice will be pulled form the App Store if I don't upgrade. I tried to open in Xcode but it says I need to use Xcode 10.1 to convert to Swift 4.

Exact message - "Use Xcode 10.1 to migrate the code to Swift 4."

I downloaded Xcode 10.1 , now the OS (Sequoia ) says can't do it, have to use the latest version of Xcode.

Exact message - "The version of Xcode installed on this Mac is not compatible with macOS Sequoia. Download the latest version for free from the App Store."

Any experience with this and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

In response to your post, I recommend visiting the Mac App Store and downloading the most recent version of Xcode compatible with your machine’s capabilities. Additionally, I suggest updating your Mac to the latest version of macOS before proceeding with the installation of Xcode/

Download the Latest Xcode: Before doing anything else, I would recommend downloading the absolute latest version of Xcode from the App Store. Sometimes, newer Xcode versions include migration tools that can help you convert your project to newer Swift versions more smoothly, and they might also resolve compatibility issues with your macOS version.

Instead of targeting Swift 4, I recommend migrating to the latest version of Swift as soon as possible.

Let me know if you give the latest Xcode version a shot and how it goes!
