I would like to know whether and how people are getting the sandbox account > manage > clear purchase history feature to work. I clear purchase history (either on my device or at app store connect), and I delete my app from my device. I then run my app from Xcode on my device, and it detects at launch the existence of the purchase, and so I cannot test my purchase user interface. Does this thing actually work as advertised?

I wonder if this is the same issue I encountered with my paid app on macOS, where the app always thinks it is a purchased app, even though no receipt is available. I noticed that running the same macOS app in a different, non developer user account on the mac would make the app correctly detect that it was not purchased.
Maybe this is a Xcode 16 / iOS 18 / macOS 15 bug?!

I’ve got the same issue. Clear history doesn’t clear anything. I tried on my device and on App Store Connect. Even after doing both, App Store Connect still has a date for “last purchase date”. I tried deleting app from my device and also using different sandbox account. Nothing worked.
Same problem here. Purchase history did clear once, but it took days to occur. Then I could test a purchase again. After that I tried to clear it again but after several days it still shows my most recent purchase.
The same issue occurs. No matter how much I try to delete the purchase history from the sandbox account, it does not get removed from the purchase records.

I've got the same issue. I reported it to the apple support team.
+1 - for me it does clear eventually (usually), but it can take days (or maybe weeks - I usually give up & then come back to it much later).
