Shortcuts Automation Trigger Transaction Timeouts

The issue appears to be tied to the card providers, as Apple Wallet sometimes does not receive the transaction promptly. However, if a timeout occurs, the notification eventually reaches the Wallet app later. Unfortunately, the transaction automation trigger does not behave in the same way—it times out instead of handling delayed inputs like the Wallet app. This needs to be fixed to ensure the trigger can seamlessly process delayed transactions. Could you provide a solution or workaround for this issue?

Hi BB, I am facing the same issue. It is weird because it was working properly even with iOS 18. For some reason, it is stopped working last weeks. If you get any news about it, please let us know.

This image visually illustrates the issue: The transaction of CHF 8.50 was executed at 12:25 PM, and the card provider, Cembra, sent a notification. However, the shortcut failed because no Apple Wallet notification for the transaction was received (it timed out while waiting for it).

Around 4 PM, the Apple Wallet transaction notification finally appeared on top.

After some time, the order of notifications was adjusted, even though the Apple Wallet notification arrived three hours late.

Hi @BenjaminButton, I'm facing the same issue. I don´t know why it suddenly stopped working since last month. Sometimes it works but it's quite annoying. Hope Apple can fix this issue

I'm experiencing the same Apple Wallet Transaction issues. The automation frequently fails and times out, even though the transaction notification eventually appears in Apple Wallet (sometimes hours later). Running on iPhone 15 Pro with iOS 18.3.1. Hope Apple fixes this soon!

Up voted. I am experiencing the same issue. I am trying to use this shortcut to record expenses in my budget app. It works some times. Same card works fine at some vendors and at others the transaction fails to trigger my shortcut. The automation needs to trigger when the information is received, regardless of when the tap occurs for me to make use of the data.

Também estou passando pelo mesmo problema. Quando uso o nubank por exemplo o gatilho não é acionado, consequentemente não acionando as automações de registro na planilha do Numbers. Quando eu executo manualmente dentro do Atalhos o registro aconte, mas apenas assim. Ainda não testei com outros cartões. Espero que este problema seja corrigido, pois será incrível se funcionar.
