MapKit JS ID and Key creation

Hi!

After watching MapKit JS introduction video of WWDC 2018, I am really interested to try out MapKit JS. I followed the instruction (https://help.apple.com/developer-account/#/dev4bb1cc12b), but can not manage to find the "Maps IDs" field in my developer account under the section of "Identifiers" in the sidebar. I contacted the support team, but they have no idea and recommended to post the problem here. I am wondering whether there are restrictions for account to apply MapKit JS ID and Key? Thanks.

MapKit JS beta is currently not supported in China. Please file an enhancement request via Apple Bug Reporter.

Dear Eric G

I understand that for the Beta this makes sense, but do you know if this will always be the case and if future release plans for MapKit JS will include coverage through-out China.

We are looking for a replacement on our website(s) for Google Maps (which aren't supported in China) and currently evaluating Bing Maps from Microsoft. Although our needs are rudimentary, we prefer the option of perhaps using Mapkit JS if they will work through-out China.

Thanks for your feedback. Anything is possible. I don't know of any specific plans right now. Please send us an enhancement request via the Apple Bug Reporter. That is the best way to let us know what you would like to see in future versions of MapKit JS.
